Can't stand the Heat? Plug in the Slow Cooker!-aNAANda Chicken Masala or Indian Beef Stew
Updated: Mar 31, 2020
Summertime in the South is long, hot & humid and who wants to stand by a fire (stove, oven, grill) to make dinner? My Symphony Seasonings to the rescue! Our cooks have been busy testing recipes that will keep your kitchen cool, but are delicious and easy!
Our third recipe in this series is one of our staff favorites! It's so easy to make yet so flavorful! Honestly though it was one of the most difficult spice blends to develop...you see we are well familiar with Indian cuisine at My Symphony Seasonings and the use of freshly grated turmeric, ginger, cardamom etc. was difficult to translate as a dry spice recipe blend, BUT we did it! Our Indian spice blend is called aNAANda which means extremely happy because that's how we felt when we tweaked our recipe for the last time and decided that the blend of 15 organic herbs & spices was flavorful, aromatic and exotic enough to stand up to My Symphony Seasonings' standards! This spice blend is the key ingredient in today's slow cooker recipe; aNAANda Chicken Masala. Scroll down for the recipe tab.
Click the recipe tab above to get cooking and find a surprise second recipe for aNAANda Indian beef stew . These recipes will quickly be part of your dinner rotation as it's easy enough for a week day meal yet delectable enough for a fancy dinner party. We always say, 'whether you're entertaining for 1 or 100...make an ordinary day extraordinary'!
